Overnaming is a fallacy.
A person P commits overnaming whenever:
i. Where S is a name used in an expression (the left-hand side) containing X and D the definition for X.
i. "Overnaming means to give too many pets names..."
ii. "Being anti-social means to not like partying..."
To conflate the name of something with the meaning of that name.
To believe that one knows what something is simply because the name of that something seems familiar.
